Key Rules for Mounts and Controllers
1. Pipe diameter: The Universal Mount Kit needs a 1-inch threaded pipe (customer supplied). The Industrial Stainless Mount Kit needs a 1.5-inch (40mm) pipe (customer supplied). Neither kit includes the pipe.
2. C-10 vs C-20: The C-10 is a temperature-only thermostat across a 0-80 degree F range with an 8 ft cord. The C-20 adds a mechanical timer but narrows its range to 0-40 degrees F with a 3 ft cord.
3. Single-unit rule: Kasco C-10 and C-20 panels control only one de-icer at a time.
