Where a document's contents matter, we also render them as HTML on the relevant page, because a specification locked in a PDF is hard to search, hard to cite, and easy to misread.

Why the specs are also rendered as HTML
Because a PDF is a poor container for a decision. Kasco's de-icer sizing chart is 24 discrete data points that answer the highest-intent question in the category, and it lives in a PDF that is awkward to search on a phone, inconsistently indexed, and unevenly cited by AI answer engines.
So the numbers appear twice here. The PDF is the record. The sizing guide and the sizing calculator are the working version, with Kasco's stated assumptions carried alongside the figures rather than dropped in a footnote.

Where do the specification figures on this site come from?
Every specification published on marinedeicer.com is taken from one of these primary documents or from the manufacturer's current published tables, and carries a verification date. Reseller listings are not treated as sources: several large retailers still publish 11.2 A and 52 lbs of thrust for the Kasco 4400D, against Kasco's own current figures of 9.1 A and 42 lbs.
Where a figure could not be traced to a primary source, the page says so rather than filling the gap with an estimate. See the editorial and verification notes.
